So grateful for the many tender mercies we have been blessed with over the last few months:

All our children are healthy...

Lance still has employment in spite of many changes and lay-offs at work...

That I can still dance in my old age and get paid for it...

Noah graduating from college...

Jesse's music career taking off...

Seeing Lea's beautiful smile every day...

Hearing Emry say, "I want to dedicate my life to dance"...

Having the gospel in our lives to offer comfort, strength and hope...

Being loved by my husband...

We had a summer to remember. For over 10 years Lea has been a patient of Dr. Jensen, a wonderful orthodonist. After two rounds of full braces, two rounds of a front facial mask, retainers, spacers and a mouth full of wire, Lea was able to have her jaw surgery. Dr. Greg Egbert was the gifted surgeon who performed the surgery. The pictures express what words can not. Reversing the work of over 10 years, going through pain, a swollen face, a liquid only diet for two weeks and then soft food for six, has in Lea's words...been completely worth it! How blessed we are for caring and competent professionals, a loving support system and our Heavenly Father's grace. We are grateful....

Last night was American Fork Idol and I was honored to be judge. What a fun night of talent, food and friends! I tried to be "Simon" but realized I am really more like "Paula." Congrats to Kelsey to won $600.00!

Noah directed the "Crimson Cure", a 5k race to support research for Diabetes at the University of Utah. It was Friday, July 17th, in the blazing 100 degree weather!!! Lance, Emry and I all ran in it. I actually finished 2nd in the female category and Lance and Emry finished in 4o minutes. It was a fun night topped off with a huge plate of cheese fries from the Training Table. Way to go Noah for your hard work and a job well done!

We had a blast on Tour this year with Showcase! The kids performed great and the crowd responded with enthusiasm. It was fun to spend a week with Emry and the wonderful kids I teach. I am proud teacher and mother!
